never know what to say about myself other than the basic labels; twenty something, black, college educated, life educated. I come from a one traffic light town in a small rural county with high rates of illiteracy, unemployment, and donothingness. I’m the white sheep in a black family. I read roots when I was twelve and never quite understood candide or dr. faustus. i love God but, i’m no zealot. we don’t have to agree on everything, chances are we won’t. i’m okay with it if you are.
i write because i have to. i write because i believe i was placed on this earth, in this body, at such a time as this to share my perspective. i am no longer ashamed of my talents and gifts. i am a writer, and if you read, you will enjoy. or you will enjoy bashing me or challenging me. either way, i’ll get a rise out of you.
I love landscapes with very green grass, very blue skies and delicious clouds.
i have a degree from Fort Valley State University. i love my school. i am not prone to fanaticism, but i love music, books, and the new orleans saints.
